It's a small village, on top of the Libron hillside, 15 kms north from Béziers
and 20 mn drive from The Mediteranean Sea.
The hills village, apart from heavy traffic roads, is set around its medieval castle and church (XII century), it is a peaceful and charming village,
a pleasant place to live.
Parts of ancient townwalls and gates show the strategic position of this fortified place where narrow streets follow the roundish shape of the ancient ramparts slightly going down to the walking path built on moats.
Puissalicon is proud of its famous Roman Tower built in the 10 th century,
26 meters high, scheduled as an ancient monument.
